More to share... or TMI, you decide.

It is important enough to me, to say out loud.  And if you're here, 'cause it is more than a 420 charater committment and you do read on...  It's just my opinion, and if I do say so myself, it's well written.

Super Big Deal… a.k.a. Bra dilemma

In 2007 I was at a point where I needed to find a new bra because I could no longer find a source for the Vanity Fair brand of the My Satin Fantasy style in the size 42DDD.   Target, Kmart or Walmart has never been a bra option for me.  Bra novices... next time you’re in any intimate apparel department of any  store... check out the racks.  You will not likely find any size above a 42DD.

So… back in 2007 when I needed to replace my bra supply source, my sisters and I went to Lane Bryant.  The baby sister had experienced and was wearing the Cacique brand and recommended the middle sister and I get fitted.  And so we did.  The sisters got new bras and at the encouragement of the Lane Bryant sales associate in the Burnsville store I made the leap of faith and ordered, on-line, the Cacique Balconette 40F because the store has no stock of this size combination and rarely does.

I have ordered and was completely satisfied with the Cacique Balconette size 40F I've ordered for the last few years, until I ordered the bra in October (2009).  I could see that the construction was altered and as a result the fit has been compromised.  The bra that I absolutely loved and have purchased exclusively in since 2007 is now no longer an option.  Because of the new construction, it no longer offers me the fit, support and comfort that I have come to expect from Lane Bryant and the Cacique brand.

I did, recently order the Cacique Balconette in a 40DDD with the hope that if the construction were the same as the 40F the result may prove to achieve the fit, support and comfort I once counted on from Lane Bryant and the Cacique brand.  My order arrived yesterday (1/5/10) and not only do these bras not have the same construction as 40F, they do not have the fit and support, not to mention comfort that I once had in the Cacique Balconette 40F.

I am so disappointed.  I would really like the old construction back or new construction to fit like the old.  Until then I am on a search for a new bra that fits.
