My life segwayed for a bit but in 1994 I earned my Associates Degree in Accounting.  Since obtaining my degree I have worked with small companies as a full charge bookkeeper.  I have taken care of all aspects of accounting with the exception of year end tax reporting and filing.  I just have the data ready to be reviewed and processed by the CPA or as I like to refer to them the person who likes to study and understand tax law as it applies to your finances.

 

My first job upon graduating I was introduced to the QuickBooks financial software.  I liked the product so much I purchased the personal finacial software product Quicken, and have used both products contiuously since that time.  And then I discovered Exel.  Who knew spreadsheets could be so much fun?  Any excuse will do to create one.

 

In 2004 my candle passion inspired me to join the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce.  As a result of that association I met a really supportive and encouraging group of people.  When circumstances lead to my unemployment my networking group encouraged me to start my own business.  Now I am doing business as Bottom Line.

 

I work with small company owners that have determined that their time is better utilized with other aspects of their business.  I have clients that I imput financial data in their systems once a week.  I have clients that I see once a month to reconcile bank statements and validate their data.  And then I have clients that I just visit quarterly.
